Announcement Trailer
As the grand debut for the survival adventure Windbound, our goal was to create a trailer that presents elements of survival, discovery and progression within the game’s systems. In starting small and desolate washed up on the beach, to hunting and crafting boats to explore more islands, this trailer illustrates a typical gameplay loop but in a cinematic and intriguing fashion.

Taking a more direct approach in storytelling, this trailer focuses on our hero’s journey through a custom visual style and directed narration to tell an engaging tale of bravery and survival. Featuring 2D animation that truly comes alive, this trailer’s unique design tells of an expedition unlike any other.
